We believe small messages of kindness matter in the world and that 1 message at just the right time can change someone's day, outlook, or life!  ATraceofKindness is a local Chapel Hill chapter of The Kindness Rocks Project (thekindnessrocksproject.com) and was started in memory of UNC student Trace Buckner.
Please join us as we honor Trace through the #atraceofkindness project. There’s no sign up.  No subscription.  Our goal is to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients by painting and sharing inspirational rocks.   Just paint an uplifting, positive message on a rock, place the rock where someone will notice it—a local park, a walking trail, your front yard—and, ideally, label it with #atraceofkindness ; #thekindnessrocksproject on the underside.
Hopefully finding the rock will brighten someone's day or possibly share just the words they need to hear that day.  Keep the rock, post it to share the message with others, or just hang onto it for a personal reminder.
Pass the message around that kindness matters . . . you never know whose day your message will change for the better.
